WONDER
Fiercely raw and fearlessly human, Wonder's songwriting is iconic for its dynamic power and honest simplicity. Her songs are fluid, constantly changing with the writer. Through heartbreak, regret, triumph and longing, Wonder touches every audience through voice and song.
PETE BUSH
Pete Bush is the speed crooning songwriter and frontman of Olympia based band, Keroscenery. Bush’s songs about the faults so many of us have, the lessons of both good and bad relationships, final conversations, the memories we hold closest, and the willingness to embrace it all, have gotten critical acclaim and Alternative Press Magazine’s “Unsigned Artist of the Month”.
Bush blends his wide range of influences into a sound that has been described as indie rock with roots in jazz. Influences like the creativity of Tom Waits, the soaring voice of Cab Calloway, the attitude of Queens of the Stone Age, the hardcore punk symphony of Jawbox, and the beautiful emotional confessions of Clem Snide and Nina Nastasia.
An acoustic set by Pete Bush puts more emphasis on the lyrics of the original songs of personal tales, songs about fictional characters like “The Great Divide”, and “Mile Marker” that show the softer side of some truly terrible people, and a few cover songs that may be recognizable yet unexpected. The solo shows are still a new and growing thing for Bush and an acoustic recording is in the works to match.
