CIOSI

Federico (is known worldwide as Ciosi) is one of Italy’s greatest guitarists. Beginning his passion for the instrument at the age of 8. His parents bought him his first guitar. At that age and he fell in love with music and developed a quick love of music that has endured the decades.

He started performing at the age of 20. He supported himself by performing at restaurants hotels parties and weddings. However he grew bored by playing the usual social circles, and then discovered the American influences of Tony Rice, Doc Watson and guitar Shorty and the rural sound of southern blues.

Since the age of 24 he has released a myriad of albums featuring a wide a wide variety of acoustic guitar masterpieces. One of the highlights of his career is playing with the Italian guitar master Bepe Gambetta. And at the  Acousticology. guitar festival…

He quickly became a virtuoso in rural, blues, flatpicking, improvisation, Jazz and Bottleneck guitar

He continues to weave these various styles into fantastic covers of his guitar Idols and originally composed music.

Acoustically Ciosi has toured the European continent from Austria to France and even overseas to Argentina. He is now in the United states  for the first time and is looking forward to performing at a house concert and venue near you
